Access to Cultural Heritage: Policies of Presentation and Use
Målet med ACCU er å komme frem til enkle og lett overførbare løsninger for tilgjengeliggjøring av kulturarven, slik at alle kan ta del i den. Fetsund lenser var norsk partner i prosjektet.
ACCU- Access to Cultural Heritage: Policies of Presentation and Use promotes co-operation between operators in the field of heritage management and offers new tools for the use of professionals on accessibility questions. The project actions are divided into five packages: a website, conferences, a DVD publication: Manual of How to Make Cultural Heritage Sites and Exhibitions Accessible, pilot actions in each partner country and a travelling exhibition showing the actual results and objects that have been created within the pilot activities.
The project objectives are: to produce concrete action plans and suggestions for heritage sites, to produce high quality information material on different factors that impede or improve access to cultural heritage sites, to widely disseminate information on access-related issues through a European network and to re-evaluate the representation of cultural heritage regarding questions of social and cultural accessibility.
