Målet med kampanjen er å påvirke neste EU-budsjett for årene 2014-2020. Meningen med manifestet er å erkjenne viktigheten av kunstens og kulturens rolle i europeisk sammenheng ved å øke støtten til kultur i neste EU-budsjett. (04.01.2012)
Act for culture in Europe: Help collect 100.000 signatures!
2012 is a key decision-making year during which the EU budget 2014-2020 will be voted upon by Members of the European Parliament and Ministers from the Member States.
EU support to culture over the next seven years is at stake and the negotiations over the first four months of the year will be crucial. The campaign 'we are more - act for culture in Europe' calls for vital support for culture in the next EU budget and wants to collect 100.000 signatures and present them to the Culture Ministers of all EU Member States when they gather in Brussels for the EU Council of Culture Ministers in May 2012.

Nordic we are more project granted 25.000€
The project ‘we are more – gathering Nordic cultural operators to joint advocacy actions’ was recently awarded a grant by the Culture Programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The project, that will be lead by Intercult in collaboration with Culture Action Europe, will gather all Nordic members of Culture Action Europe as well as external partners for joint advocacy actions, starting with a workshop in Stockholm the 26th-27th of January 2012, and continuing with a series of campaign activities during the Danish EU Presidency in Spring 2012.
