In 2019 Arts Council Norway initiated a three year development project called Cultural Economy. The purpose of this project is to explore the ecosystem of the cultural economy, and to understand how artists and institutions can increase their income streams and reach out to a larger and wider audience.

In this session, we will outline the Creative Economy and opportunities for growth in Norway. We are delighted to announce that both the Senior Economist at Spotify, David Erlandsson, and former Chief Economist of Spotify, Will Page, will join us to take a look at all the opportunities Spotify can offer artists in Norway. In a conversation between the director of Arts Council Norway Kristin Danielsen and Will Page, we will hear the Council's perspective on Spotify's mission statement and what role policy can play.
